Holes In The Somewhere leaps forward this month toward publication! The finished manuscript has been sent for review by the cover artist, and I will have a few ideas and options for the cover sent back to me within 3 weeks! I have also learned of the importance of ARCs (Advance Reader Copies) being sent to influencers for possible reviews. The only problem there is that I don't know any influencers. If you do, help me out and drop their name(s) and emails in the comments! (Or Contact Me, if you want to keep theirs and your info private). I'd like to have a list of about 20-30 names to send ARCs to by Thanksgiving. Preferably, these influencers will be fans of speculative fiction. Horror fans are good, but if they love The Twilight Zone and/or Black Mirror, then those are the ones I especially want at the top of the list!
I'm still working on the two short stories I mentioned the last time. The ghost story has taken a very creepy and real-life turn! #IndiePit, an event on X scheduled for Oct. 3rd is taking up a lot of my creative rain-space. I get one shot to pitch my book to readers in a fun and creative way. Have I got one cooking that'll blow your minds?? .... No. I don't. But I will. I'll come up with something good. I work better under pressure! Thank you for visiting, and please come back for more news... if you don't get caught in some alternate dimension. I don't really plan on marketing my stories in any dimension but this one. I guess I'm just not ambitious enough.
